Jamia High Safeguarding CASE STUDY

The Challenge

 Jamia High School – a private high school with 120 students and 20 staff members, operating a mixed-device environment ( Windows desktops, and Laptops) across 11 classrooms.

Challenge:
With growing concerns over student exposure to inappropriate content, distractions during instructional time, and cybersecurity threats such as phishing and malware, the school leadership sought a solution to:

  • Protect students and staff from harmful or inappropriate online content.
  • Ensure compliance with local child safeguarding legislation 
  • Reduce non-academic internet use to boost productivity.
  • Gain visibility into web usage for IT staff and administrators.
  • Apply differentiated access policies for staff and students.

The Solution

Senso Safeguard – a cloud-based internet filtering and monitoring solution designed for educational environments.

Deployment Strategy:

  • Needs Assessment: Collaborated with school IT, administration, and teaching staff to identify content categories to block (e.g., adult content, gaming, streaming media).
